Alright, here is another one. This one is for a guild (Much like the first one I upoladed months ago for Mages of the Night) instead of a house. I could go into the deep heirachial structure, but I don't want to dilute the project... so once again you guys are going to have to deal with a snipet.

First off, there is a difference between the guild crests and house crests. The houses are almost like states in an empire, each with their own population, land and army. The houses work together to form the High Council with their best elder as a representitive to create a legislative body. The guilds are extentions of the Council each with a specific duity above and beyond the needs of any one house. Also, there are 13 houses and only 4 guilds.

Also, there is a little bit behind the design of the patch. First off, that wierd scribbling in the smaller circle is supposed to vaugely resemble where the gateway is on Earth, a huge crater bay on a Northern shore of Japan. Why a crater? Well, that is because when their world was first created they took that chunk of land to build an anchor and then spread off from there. That ground is considered sacred on both sides. Also, that's supposed to be a halebard (didn't quite translate right from .fla->.png) goin' with the idea that a guard would keep that kind of weapon. Also the "silver" streak seperating the blue shows the kitsune outlook on the human race. The blue shows their flourishing (coming off the inner circle) and the black shows that they regard Earth as a wasteland. Also, if you count the little yellow circles, there are 13 of them, one for each house.

Here's the excerpt:
The Gatekeepers

A small but powerful guild, the Gatekeepers protect the Gateway from human and Nogisune(banished/outcast kitsune) intrusion and defend the Throne of Inari. They often conflict with the Hunters, but acts more as an independent “minute man” militia for invasion or intrusion rather than an executive force. They may be more concerned with warring factions because of the potential damage to what they are meant to protect. They act independently of the Council in choosing members, but their actions are tied with the Council. For instance, the Gateway of Imagination is under their control and supervision, but it cannot be locked or opened without the Council’s consent and direct action. The Gatekeepers can block or force open the gateway for short periods of time, but to fully close or open it, they need the council’s direct approval and action.

Usually the make up of this guild includes a small portion of every household, a handful of exceptional members of each affiliation. Their services are only called upon in crisis or true danger. Also, a small number of higher ranking members may be charged with specific duties such as guarding the gateway or the Throne of Inari (they are called Captains of the Guard and have a small force assigned to them) and the top-ranking member who usually is also a Council member is given the title of “Keeper of the Keys.”

Their commitment to the guild supercedes all other oaths to even house and country. These Kitsune usually are in other respected positions and their duties are kept quiet, as to remain impartial. They tend to very skilled in both right-brain and left-brain activities. Also, they are rather reserved and never get imensely attatched to people/things.

So, there's the story... I am really currious how many people out there would actually choose a side and buy a patch to show support. It is really costly right now to actually do that, but I would still like to see if there is any support out there.
